Vladdin Vapor RE | Pod System Review

Vladdin have released a new Vapor RE, a REfillable pod system using a ceramic heating system and we give you a low down on how it performs

The Vladdin RE is designed to be used with nic salts and regular eliquids. It’s incredibly lightweight and has a skinny sleek design convenient for your pocket. The last ceramic heating system we had was Vaporesso Nexus and that was our go to for quite some time, we’ll use that as a baseline to check this one out.

What’s in the box?

  • 1 x Vladdin RE device
  • 1 x Replacement pod
  • 1 x MicroUSB Cable
  • Instructional Manual
  • Available in Black, Gold, Rainbow and Chrome

Design and Durability

This is a very light mod, it weighs just over a JUUL. This is impressive as it’s just a tad bit taller, the curvy design is very sexy and defined. It fits perfectly in your hand.

The colour options are great, the one we tested was a rainbow mod and the build is very well. It has an LED light to know when it’s active but nothing for battery indication.

The pods hold 1.5ml but I found it quite flimsy to fill up, one of the cons we found. It’s probably our fault for not reading the manual but you have to remember not to fill it from the sides and not the chimney! Once filled, they slot into place and feels great when you take a vape.

When you fire this up, it has no restrictiveness. a great mouth to lung device which shows an active LED light when you puff. It’s has a nice consistent vape, no disconnections and good clouds for its size. I found that it didn’t have any dry-hits even after filling it which you will find with ceramic coils.

Pod capacity is adequate and you can get about a day from one refill (depending on how much you vape). The battery lasted just about a day but I did need a charge at night. The cut off time was a little shorter than what I’m used to but the pods lasted much longer than others I used. I’ve used this for about a week now and no change in flavour, still performing strong for such a small device.

Great little pod device with a consistent performance, no dry hits or leaking. The mouth to lung draw is great, it’s very sleek and lightweight and just works.

A great device for someone beginning and a good bang for your buck. I wish the battery was a little bigger but I can’t complain – it’s not like you have a battery indicator to tell anyways!

If you want to switch from a tank to a pod device, this is a great starter to get you going. Good job Vladdin, we hope to see more.
